Day 3: Strength & Easy Spin

Just like Tuesday Heather and I headed to the weight room at the High School for our strength training think it went much better last night! I already knew how much weight I wanted to use that cut out 15 minutes from last time! The squats hurt but only because I am still recovering from the last time. Overall though a much better experience! I am not nearly as sore this morning!

The easy spin went well. My butt is still getting used to being back in saddle again, but that is to be expected. I a… Continue

Day 2: Easy Spin

Last night was just an easy spin on the trainer. The body is still getting used to being back in the saddle again. Legs are still sore from that one session of squats on Tuesday. Today I am going to either skip them or do really really low weight. I will just have to see how things go tonight. I am really excited about spinning out on the r… Continue

I am sure more tuning will come on Thursday when I head back in. The one exercise that honestly scares me, due to the risk of injury, left me sore this morning....squats...I ha… Continue

2010 Season Training Kick-Off!!

Starting Monday I will begin my training for the 2010 race season! I am really excited about getting started! Last year I was not as motivated because I didn't have a road bike yet and I wasn't sure when I would be able to even use the training! But I went on training on my Softride in hopes of getting a legal bike. This year however I will be ready to go right from the start, which is in February by the way.

I am starting my training a month earlier this year and I am planning on 100 hours mor… Continue
